Case Study - New Beginnings Removals
The Goal
New Beginnings Removals needed help with SEO after launching their new business. Our starter SEO package got them found, indexed and winning new business.
The Back Story
Very little had been done on New Beginnings brand new website to help them get found and indexed by Google. The owner, Nick contacted us and asked us to set things up properly.
Our Objectives
- Have the website found and indexed by Google.
- On-site SEO fundamentals built and implemented including meta tags, image compression etc.
- Register the website with ‘Google My Business’ and add to Google Maps.
- Improve local rankings for relevant search terms.
What We Did
- Installed Google analytics and search console in order to capture search data.
- Submitted sitemap to Google and other search engines for indexing.
- Added the business to ‘Google business profile’ in order to improve the chances of being found in local searches.
- Audited website on-page SEO to identify issues and opportunities – resolved.
- Reviewed content and metadata and made recommendations before we rewrote most of the content.
- Implemented Schema markup.
- Configured relevant SEO plugins.
- Identified relevant keywords and future content opportunities.
The Results
Within a week of starting, the website had been indexed by Google and was appearing in the search results for relevant terms just as a result of ‘doing the basics‘. Potential customers could now find the website and make contact. Site visitors also started to stay on the site for longer after we had completed a rewrite of the content on the main service pages. This is important as we were building the trust that would lead to quote requests.
